Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of fdnsconstruction.com, our customer portal, and the services provided by FDNS General Construction("FDNS Construction," "we," "us"). By requesting services, booking a visit, purchasing a home service plan, or using the site, you agree to them. Where a signed proposal, contract, or service agreement exists for specific work, that document controls for that work.

Our services

We provide home maintenance plans, repairs, remodeling, general contracting, and concrete & masonry work in Bowie, Maryland and the surrounding DMV area. Scope, pricing, and schedule for any project are defined in the written quote or agreement for that project.

Estimates and quotes

• Quotes describe the work and price we are offering at the time they are issued and may carry an expiration date; an expired quote is no longer binding.
• A quote becomes an agreement when you accept it. Work outside the accepted scope, or conditions discovered once work begins (concealed damage, code issues), is handled through a written change order before additional charges apply.

Scheduling and property access

Visits are scheduled in advance. You agree to provide safe access to the areas being serviced and to secure pets during visits. If we cannot access the property at the scheduled time, a missed-visit fee may apply and the visit will be rescheduled.

Payments

• Invoices are due upon receipt unless the invoice states otherwise.
• Plan subscriptions are billed automatically through Stripe on the interval you choose (monthly, quarterly, or annual). The price shown is the price you pay.
• Walk-through and service-call fees are collected in person at the visit unless arranged otherwise.
• Accounts with unpaid invoices may have scheduled services paused until the balance is resolved.

Home service plans

• Plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time with 30 days' notice — no long-term commitment. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the notice period, and no further periods are billed after that.
• Plan benefits (included visits, labor discounts) apply while the plan is active and do not carry over after cancellation.

Walk-throughs and reports

This report is a visual, non-invasive walk-through assessment provided for informational purposes only. It is NOT a warranty or guarantee of condition, NOT a professional or licensed home inspection, and NOT an engineering, structural, or code-compliance evaluation. No destructive testing or access to concealed areas was performed. Findings describe only what was visible on the date of the visit and may change over time.

Reports are prepared for the customer named on them and are not a substitute for a licensed home inspection, appraisal, or engineering evaluation.

Workmanship and warranties

We stand behind our work: workmanship issues reported within a reasonable time will be reviewed and corrected where we are at fault. Materials, fixtures, and appliances are covered by their manufacturers' warranties, which pass through to you; we are not the warrantor of third-party products. Normal wear, misuse, and pre-existing conditions are not covered.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Maryland law, our total liability arising out of any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including our obligations under Maryland home improvement law.

License and insurance

FDNS General Construction is a licensed Maryland home improvement contractor (MHIC #05-163872) and carries general liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is available on request.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Disputes will be resolved in the state courts of Maryland, without limiting any rights you have under Maryland consumer-protection or home-improvement law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always posted here with its date. Changes do not apply retroactively to work already under a signed agreement.
